This person needs to be a hard worker for site restoration of historic buildings. They will assist the Site Manager as needed to complete tasks. Depending on position no experience may be necessary, but must be a quick learner and able to repeat various assigned tasks with excellence and hard work after having been trained. We prefer to hire for attitude and train for skill. It is likely that this position will involve working around lead paint and may require the incumbent to wear a respirator up to 9.5 hours a day. This position will include a heavy travel schedule as needed for out of town projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform various tasks to assist in the renovation of historic buildings as directed by the Site Manager.
Activities may include but are not limited to: framing, trim carpentry, painting, caulking, scraping, sanding, flooring, plaster, etc.
Work as a part of a team to accomplish project according to schedules.
Maintain a clean work site and provide excellent client relations.
Other duties as assigned.

Must have a reliable means of transportation
Must speak English
Must be well groomed and professional
Travel required (may be on-site, out-of-area for up to 1 month)
Physical Requirements: This position requires incumbents to routinely stand for up to 10 hours a day and for long periods of time, stoop or crouch, lift up to 80 lbs at a time, endure hot and cold temperatures while working, work outside, work while wearing cumbersome protective equipment, walk, perform repetitive hand and arm motions, be able to see near and far distances, respond quickly to sounds, and climb ladders and raised platforms while carrying materials or equipment.
